CBSE Will Conduct Random Check For The Better Performance Of CCE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct random verification across 200 schools in the city to ensure that the exams as well as the process followed under Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) are reliable and free from bias. This will be part of a nationwide analysis of the system, the first since CCE was implemented in 2009.

Each school will be required to send the data of a total of 15 students - five each in the top, average and lowest grade. The Board will analyze the subject-wise performance of the students in science, mathematics, Hindi, English and social science.

the regional office will select the schools randomly for such verification. Ten per cent of the government schools, aided schools and private schools will be randomly chosen. All the schools, however, will need to submit their data to the Board.

Schools are expected to submit the data in the prescribed format by April 20. They are being asked to upload the data on the CBSE website.
