An effective winter cold waves is traveling around the country, Schools are closing due to cold waves. Same happened in Noida and greater Noida. In view of the harsh winter, the authorities have decided to shut all schools in Noida and Greater Noida till January 2, 2011, an official said.
"We have decided to close all schools for the time being," Gautam Budh Nagar District Magistrate Deepak Agarwal said. North India has been shivering under a cold wave that has claimed a life in the national capital. IANS
