Application invited for PG courses in Forest Research Institute
The Forest Research Institute is a premier Indian institution in the field of Forestry research in India. Forest Research Institute established in 1906 is considering as a deemed university by the University Grants Commission, India.
Applications are invited from candidates for the PG courses offered in the institute. Filled in applications will be accepted till April 1st 2011. There are total 12 exam centers across India includes Delhi and Bangalore. The entrance exam for the courses will be on May 8th 2011.

- Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Botony/Chemistry/Geology/Maths/Physics/Zoology OR Agricultural/Forestry
MSc Wood Science & Technology:
- Total seat offered: 38
- Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Physics, Maths, Chemistry (integrate) OR Forestry
MSc Environment Management:
- Total seat offered: 38
- Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Basic/Applied Science/Forestry/Agricultural/B.Tech in Environment Science
Post Master's Diploma in Natural Resource Management:
- Total seat offered: 24
- Course duration: 1 year
- Eligibility: MSc in any core subject
Application submission procedure:
Application form and information bulletin will be available through post, candidates should send a request with aDemand Draft of INR1000 on behalf of Registrar, FRI (Deemed) University, P.O. IPE, Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun for receiving the same. Application forms will get available till March 21nd 2011 through post. Candidate need to send separate request for separate courses accordingly. Application forms are also available through online. Download the form from here and sent it across with a Demand Draft of INR1000 to the Registrar.
